01How do I submit a referral?
Complete the company's standard Referral/Order Intake Form with the patient's name, address, phone, requested product, and referring provider information. Submit by email to info@continentalmedical.net or by calling 1-931-444-3335. You will receive a confirmation within one business day.
02When do I get paid?
Commissions are calculated on all confirmed deliveries with signed Proof of Delivery during the calendar month. Payment is made within 15 days following month close, accompanied by a full commission statement. Payment is made by direct deposit or check, as agreed in your contract.
03What happens if a patient returns an item?
Commissions for returned items are reversed (charged back) on your next commission statement. This is why it's important to make sure the product is a good fit for the patient before the sale — our team can help you assess patient needs if you're unsure.
04Can I discuss Medicare or Medicaid coverage with a referral source?
You may generally explain that Continental Medical is a CMS-enrolled DMEPOS supplier and that we work with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. You may NOT guarantee coverage, quote specific reimbursement amounts, or advise a patient or provider on Medicare or Medicaid eligibility. Redirect all specific insurance questions to our billing team immediately.
05What materials am I allowed to use?
Only materials pre-approved in writing by the company's Owner/President. This includes brochures, flyers, business cards, referral forms, and presentation materials. You may not create your own marketing materials without written approval. A full set of approved materials is provided in your Agent Onboarding Package.
06Who do I contact if I have a compliance question?
Contact Marianne S. Wambo Yamdjeu, Owner/President and Compliance Officer, directly at mwambo@continentalmedical.net or 1-931-225-4943. When in doubt, stop and ask before acting. There is no penalty for asking — there is a significant penalty for violating the Anti-Kickback Statute.
07How do I report a compliance concern?
Report any compliance concern, suspected fraud, or conflict of interest immediately to the Compliance Officer at mwambo@continentalmedical.net. All good-faith reports are protected from retaliation under the company's Non-Retaliation Policy and federal whistleblower protections.
