Sales Tools
Proven Sales Scripts
& Conversation Starters
Use these pre-approved scripts to open conversations with confidence. Always use your name and clearly identify the company you represent.
"Good morning — my name is [Your Name] and I'm a Sales Representative for Continental Medical Cleaning and Supplies, a local DMEPOS supplier here in Clarksville. We specialize in delivering high-quality home medical equipment directly to your patients — including walkers, hospital beds, wheelchairs, bath safety products, and diabetic supplies — with same-day delivery and complete documentation. I'd love to schedule 10 minutes to drop off some materials and introduce you to what we offer. Would [Day] or [Day] work for a brief visit?"
Always identify yourself and the company by name. Never promise Medicare or insurance coverage outcomes.
"Hi — I'm [Your Name] with Continental Medical Cleaning and Supplies. We're a locally owned, CMS-enrolled DMEPOS supplier that works closely with discharge teams to make sure patients go home with everything they need — walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, transfer aids — all delivered, set up, and documented the same day. We also provide a complete home safety assessment with every delivery. I'd love to leave our product catalog and referral form in case you ever need a fast, reliable local supplier."
Lead with speed, reliability, and documentation. Discharge planners care about not getting calls back from patients who can't use their equipment.
"Hello! I'm [Your Name] with Continental Medical Cleaning and Supplies. We help people in the community get the medical equipment and supplies they need delivered right to their home — things like walkers, shower chairs, hospital beds, braces, and diabetic supplies. Do you or anyone in your family use any home medical equipment? We work with most insurance plans and also offer cash pricing. Would you like a brochure and our contact information?"
At community events, always collect contact information for follow-up. Never ask about Medicare/Medicaid status in public — this can trigger compliance concerns.
"Hi, this message is for [Contact Name]. My name is [Your Name], and I'm calling on behalf of Continental Medical Cleaning and Supplies — a local, accredited DMEPOS supplier in Clarksville serving your patients with fast, documented delivery of home medical equipment and supplies. Our number is 1-931-444-3335. I'll also send over a brief email. We'd love to connect — thanks so much for your time."
Keep voicemails under 30 seconds. Always follow up with an email the same day.
Sales Support
Handling Common
Objections Like a Pro
Be ready for pushback. Here are the most common objections Sales Agents encounter — and how to respond confidently and compliantly.
"We already have a DME supplier we work with."
"That's great — we're not asking to be your only supplier. We'd just love to be your backup option when your current supplier can't deliver on time or doesn't carry something you need. Can I leave our catalog so you have us as a resource?"
"Do you accept Medicare and Medicaid?"
"We are a CMS-enrolled DMEPOS supplier. For questions about what insurance covers, I'll connect you directly with our billing team — they can verify benefits for specific patients. My role is to make sure you know what we carry and how fast we deliver."
"We haven't heard of your company before."
"We're a new company and proud of it — that means every patient gets personal attention and every order is treated like it matters, because it does. We're accredited through The Compliance Team and fully enrolled with CMS. Here's our information — I'd love to earn a chance to show you what we can do."
"I don't have time to meet right now."
"Absolutely — I completely understand. Can I leave our catalog and a referral form with your receptionist? And would it be okay if I checked back in two weeks to see if there's a better time? I'll keep it to 10 minutes."
"What makes you different from other suppliers?"
"Three things: speed, documentation, and accountability. We deliver same or next day, we bring the paperwork with us — complete proof of delivery, home safety check, and patient instruction — and we answer the phone. If a patient calls you with a problem, we will fix it within 5 business days and call you to let you know it's done."
"We're happy with our current setup and not looking to change."
"I respect that completely. I'm not here to disrupt anything — just to make sure you know we exist. If there's ever a gap, an emergency, or a product your current supplier doesn't carry, we want to be the name you think of. May I leave a card and catalog?"
